T -8

Cool announcement: HAM radio operators will be broadcasting the race this year, as they did during the very first one in 1929! Will post details for HAM operators as soon as I can get them.

Co-pilot Liza has officially been checked out in a Cheetah and we're heading east on Thursday.

Confirmed our decision to get the JPI in before the race was the right one: Cylinder #3 had been running hot. Fix: clean and change plugs and fill in gaps around the baffling. Big difference now. Of course, 107 degrees in West Texas was a bit taxing on the little 150hp engine. Let's hope #55 can pull off a spectacular WIN like she did at the West Texas 100!

To Do:
Check and double-check all required documents and events, wash and wax and wash and wax, send out more press releases and drum up more support for our team and CaringBridge...

Please pass this link along to help increase the fan base for greater awareness for CaringBridge, our chosen charity.
